Planting Green Giant Thujas in Your Garden

When planting your Green Giant Arborvitae, it is important to choose an area that has well-drained soil and full sun. You will also need to prepare the planting hole before placing your tree in it. To do this, simply dig a hole that is twice the width and depth of the tree’s root ball. Once you have done this, you can place your tree in the hole and backfill it with soil. Be sure to pack the soil firmly around the base of the tree so that it is secure. After you have planted your tree, water it well to help settle the roots into the ground.
